Connect your digital devices, such as cameras, iPod, printer, camcorder or keyboard to the Mac mini over USB 2.0 or FireWire. Built-in 10/100 BASE-T Ethernet and a 56K v.92 fax modem give you access to broadband or dial-up connections to the Internet. A headphone/audio line-out jack lets you listen to stereo sound.

Slot Load DVD/CD Drive

Pop a DVD or CD into the slot-loading optical drive. Your Mac mini senses the presence of a disc, slurps it inside, then launches the right application — your DVD starts playing or iTunes imports CDs. With a Combo drive you can play CDs and DVDs, plus you can make your own CDs. Or opt for the DVD-burning SuperDrive, which lets you play and make both CDs and DVDs. Back up your music collection on DVD or create DVDs of photo slideshows and home movies that you can play on a DVD player in the living room or send to the parents.

Go Wireless with the Mac Mini

Trick out your Mac mini with add-on wireless to minimize clutter. AirPort Express with AirTunes lets you connect to the Internet, stream music to your home stereo and print remotely. To do so, you’ll need an AirPort Extreme Card installed by Apple or an Apple authorized reseller. You can set up an AirPort wireless network in minutes.

The internal Bluetooth module lets you connect peripherals wirelessly. So you can use a keyboard and mouse with no cables. Or keep your cell phone in your bag while you add new phone numbers and appointments to it via iSync.
